1930s Dress and Suspender Skirt – on the cross and so 'lei carra'

Here are my two most recent sewing projects! The first is a full, tartan corduroy skirt with suspenders from a 50s pattern. This was so quick and simple: there were only three pattern pieces! And no gathering!It’s also my first skirt for my Practical Wardrobe Plan, though I need to incorporate more solids to actually be practical! P
